Estherville – Services for Mrs. Steve (Julie [Ellen] Hansen) Cogdill, 25, of Estherville, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville with Pastor Jack Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Estherville Lutheran Cemetery, rural Estherville. She died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996 at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born April 11, 1971 in Estherville, the daughter of Darryl and Carolyn (Hanson) Hansen, and attended Lincoln Central school in Gruver where she graduated in 1989. She was continuing her education at Huron State University in Sioux Falls. She was employed at Sears Payment Systems in Sioux Falls, S.D. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Cogdill of Rock Rapids; parents: Darryl and Carolyn Hansen, Estherville; brothers Terry Hansen of Germany and Brian Hansen of Estherville; a grandfather, Asgar Hansen, Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Myrtle Hanson and Erma Hansen. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 11, 1996)
