Nathan Rose, 79, Dies; Rites are Tomorrow
Nathan J. [Johnson] Rose, 79, died early Sunday [May 4, 1947] morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hans Johnson.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at – p.m. in the Mahlum and Sandin chapel, Rev. L.S. Guge officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Johnson of Estherville and Mrs. Harry Bitting of Des Moines, and two sons, George of Des Moines and Alfred of Manly. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 5, 1947)
