Oston Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for James J. Oston, 74, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Christian church, the Rev. Clyde C. Leeds officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. and will lie in state up to the time of the service. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Oston, a long-time resident of this area, died Wednesday [April 15, 1953] afternoon in a Cherokee hospital. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 17, 1953)
