Funeral services for Irene Iseminger, 89, of Hoffman, Minn., will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept 6 at the henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with the Rev. Joel Jorgensen officiating. Interment will be held at oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died on Wednesday, Sept 3, 2003 at the Ely Medical Center in Elbow Lake.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept 5 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

Irene was born on Jan. 25, 1914 in Estherville, the Daughter of Joseph and Elfa (Stotts) Timmons. she received her education in the rural country schools and later the Estherville schools. On July 16, 1932, Irene was united in marriage to Harold C. Iseminger at Estherville. After their marriage the couple made their home in Estherville for twenty years, where they owned and operated the Skelly Oil Station. They lived for five years in Alaska; sixteen years at Hoffman and then returned to Estherville in the early 1970s. Harold died Sept 6, 1976. Irene has been a resident of Hoffman the last several years. Irene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville.

Irene is survived by two sons, Richard Iseminger and his wife, Carol of Mountain View, Mo.; Gerald Iseminger and his wife, Dee of Estherville; one daughter, Jeanette Rehard and her husband, Bruce of Cannon Falls, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Christine Timmons of Estherville.

She has been preceded in death by her husband; four grandchildren; daughter, Joy; brothers, Ed, Ivan and Neal; sister, Dorothy Klingbeil and her parents.(Estherville Daily News, Estherville, Iowa Sept 4, 2003)
