Hospitalized for seven weeks, Mrs. Joseph Timmons, 80, died yesterday evening at 5:55. Services have been set for Thursday at 2 p.m.
Elfa Floral Stotts was born in Churdan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stotts. After attending the Churdan schools she was married there in 19088 to Joseph Timmons. They lived on a farm in Churdan area until 1914 when they moved to the Estherville vicinity.Mrs. Timmons was a charter member of the Brown Creek Club, organized 46 years ago, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Churdan. Her husband died in November of 1969.
Three sons and two daughters survive: Ivan, Neal and Edward, Mrs. Gustave (Dorothy) Klingbeil, Lowry, Minn., Mrs. Harold (Irene) Iseminger, Anchorage, Alaska. There are 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ralph Kinsman, Terril, and Mrs. Donald Dudley, Churdan, are sister of the deceased.
A private funeral service will held at the Sternborg-Reese chapel.
