Estherville – Prayer service for Laura (Robb) Kendall, 100, of Estherville, will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with the Rev. Larry Willey of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995 at Rosewood Manor, Estherville.There will be no visitation.
She was born Feb. 17, 1895 in Estherville, the daughter of Wesley and Euodora (Clow) Robb. She attended Estherville School where she graduated from High School. On April 23, 1917 she was united in marriage with Harold H. Kendall in Estherville. Following marriage, the couple lived in Milford, later Lincoln, Neb. where they lived over 60 years. She was a member of the Vine Congregational church in Lincoln, a member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 271 in Lincoln for over 50 years.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Wayne Mack, Mandeville, La.; nephew and niece, John and Glenna Rugtive, Estherville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975; daughter; parents; three sisters and three brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 13, 1995)
