Estherville – Services for Margaret Florence Juhl, 64, rural Estherville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Presbyterian Church, Estherville, with the Rev. John Bowe officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1985 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born Nov. 29, 1920 in Estherville to Fletcher and Eda (Anderson) Snyder and attended Emmet County Consolidated High School and Estherville Junior College. On Sept. 24, 1938 she was united in marriage to Maurice Juhl in Estherville. After her marriage the family farmed near Huntington and Rutland before returning to Estherville where they farmed north of town for the last 36 years. She also worked at Iowa Trust and Savings Bank for a number of years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church, DAR, and Farm Bureau Women.

Survivors include one son, Louis and Mary Ann Juhl, Healy, Alaska; and two grandchildren, Jerry and Joseph Juhl, also of Healy, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Nick, her parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 25, 1985)
