Roger Hansen of Gruver Dies; Rites Monday
Roger Leroy Hansen, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hansen, who live three miles north of Gruver died last night at the Park View clinic where he had been a patient for the last six days. Roger underwent an operation and appeared to be improving when he took a turn for the worse.

Funeral services are being planned for Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at Gruver. Burial will be made in the Oakhill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 2, 1944)
