Services for Joseph T. Walsh, 79, of Storm Lake, were held Jan. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake. The Rev. Daniel C. Lynch officiated with burial in the Catholic Cemetery in Estherville. Farber-Otteman of Storm Lake was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Walsh died Jan 13 at the Buena Vista County Manor in Storm Lake.

He was born April 1, 1906 in Piper City, Ill. His parents were Thomas Welsh and Ellen Rellihan. He grew up and worked in Superior, Ia. until he moved to Storm Lake in 1962. He worked for Bil Mar until he retired in 1964.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Bernard and Donald; and one sister, Bernice.
