Mrs. S.B. Grinde Dies Following 5-Year Illness
Mrs. S.B. Grinde of Estherville died at her home last night following an illness of five years.Mary Agnes McNab Grind was born Aug. 31, 1907, at Blairsburg, Hamilton county, and graduated from the school in Harris. She is a member of the Estherville Lutheran church.
Mrs. Grinde is survived by her husband, a son, Douglas, her other, two sisters and five brothers.

After five years of suffering, Mrs. S.B. Grinde passed to her reward Sunday night. Mrs. Grinde had been active in the work of her church, the Estherville Lutheran, and cared for the duties of her family until a comparatively short time ago. In her last illness she was tenderly nursed by her husband and her mother, Mrs. Jas. McNab.Born Auguts 3’, [31]1907 at Blairsburg, Mary Agnes McNab completed her schooling at Harris and came to Estherville as a girl.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Douglas, her mother, two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were held yesterday from the Sternborg chapel and at 2:30 p.m. from the Estherville Lutheran church. Rev. L.A. Mathre was in charge. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 25, 1943)
