Funeral Services for Frank Geinitz Were Held Last Sunday
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Sternborg Funeral Home for Frank Geinitz, 77, who died Thursday [February 27, 1936] morning at his home. Mr. Geinitz had been ill only a few days. Rev. Arthur G. Bailey of the Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Geinitz lived on a farm until 1910 when he moved to Estherville.

He is survived by one daughter, Ann Geinitz of this city and five sons, Rev. Frank Geinitz of Topeka, Kans., Herman Geinitz of Sioux Falls, S. Dak.; Will Geinitz of Richfield, Minn., Robert Geinitz of Spirit Lake and Louis Geinitz of Platte, S. Dak.

Last Rites Sunday for F. Geinitz
Resident of Emmet County for 50 Years. Came to Estherville With Family in 1910
Last rites were held Sunday afternoon at Sternborg funeral chapel for Frank Geinitz, 77, resident of Emmet county for fifty years. The Rev. Arthur G. Bailey officiated at the services. Burial was in Oakhill cemetery.

Frank Geinitz was ill only a few days before his death. He was born in Germany January 29, 1859. The Geinitz family lived on a farm west of Wallingford until 1910 when they moved to Estherville. He is preceded in death by his wife.

Surviving him are two daughters, Miss Ann Geinitz of Estherville, and Mrs. W.J. Thompson of Ceylon, Minn., and five sons, the Rev. Frank Geinitz of Topeka, Kan., Herman of Sioux Falls, S.D., Will of Litchfield, Minn., Robert of Spirit Lake and Louis of Platt, S. Dak.
