J.C. Fuss Dies Today
Joseph Charles Fuss, 74, longtime Estherville resident, died at 3:00 this morning at Holy Family Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Immediate cause of death was uremic poisoning.

Born August 12, 1883 at Williams, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fuss. He moved with his parents to Estherville in 1891 and has lived here since. He attended the Estherville schools and spent most of his life in the carpenter trade. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one nephew, Frank Fuss, of this city. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and one sister.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas G. Melton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
