Died at Oaks, North Dakota
Ringsted Dispatch: A telegram was received Tuesday by G.W. Holmes from Oaks, North Dakota, stating that his daughter, Mrs. Chas. V. Flindt, of the above place was seriously ill. Mr. Holmes and wife departed from Maple Hill for that place on the evening train, but soon after their departure another telegram was received announcing the death of Mrs. Flindt, but no further particulars could be obtained.The deceased grew to womanhood in this vicinity and lived here until about four years ago when in company with her husband they moved to Oaks and have resided there since. She was at the time of her death twenty-two years of age. She had visited here during the winter and had returned to her home some three months ago.
The remains arrived at Halfa this morning and the funeral services were held at the Halfa Presbyterian church and the burial was at St. Paul’s church cemetery, east of town.
The relatives of the deceased have the sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, April 29, 1908)
