Mrs. Theodore Mathison Dies; Rites Friday
Mrs. Theodore Mathison, 41, died Wednesday [December 19, 1945] night at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden, after a lingering illness of several months.

Thena Fay Eiden was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Estherville. She grew to young girlhood here and attended the Estherville grade and high schools. On Aug. 5, 1935, she was married to Theodore Mathison. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Those who survive are her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sternborg chapel and 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. J.M. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 20, 1945)
