Draper Rites Held Today

Private funeral services were held for Mrs. Hannah Draper, 85, of Estherville, today at 1 p.m. in the Reese Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Charles G. du Bois officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Draper died at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past several weeks.

Mrs. Hannah Draper was born Sept. 7, 1880, at Albert Lea, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Brakken. She moved as a little girl with her parents to Estherville and received her education in Estherville schools.

She was married in 1910 to William Draper in Estherville. Mr. Draper operated a barbershop in Estherville for many years. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church.

She was survived by one niece who lives in California.

Mrs. Draper was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 13, 1965)

Mrs. Draper Dies at 79
