Mrs. Dick Died at Home of Daughter
Mrs. Mary Warner Dick, daughter of John and Sarah Warner, was born July 24, 1872 at Canton, S.D. and died Jan. 14, 1958 at the home of her daughter, Ethel Schreiber, North St. Paul, Minn.

She was married to William Dick of Big Rock, Ill. on April 8, 1891. Five children were born to them.

Mrs. Dick was a member of the Baptist Church of Canton, S.D. and attended the Christian church here. She had been an active member of the Service Star Legion for the past 30 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Schreiber, Mrs. T.E. (Elma) Anderson of Estherville; Mrs. Robert (Rose) Olmstead of St. Paul; two sons, Theodore of Vinton and Albert of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband who died 16 years ago.

Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. in the Sternborg Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eugene Olson officiated.

The Rev. and Mrs. Olson sang two numbers entitled “The Old Rugged Cross” and “The City of Four Square.”

Pallbearers were six grandsons. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 30, 1958)
