G. Krieger [Criger], 34, Passes Away; Rites Saturday
Gilbert Krieger, 34, of Martin, S.D., who has been employed on the farm of his brother-in-law, Fred Clayton, near here for six months, died at 11 p.m. yesterday in Coleman hospital following an operation. He had been in poor health for several weeks but was taken seriously ill only a few days ago.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sternborg Funeral home with the Rev. F.W. Ortmeyer of the Methodist church officiating.

Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Krieger is survived by one son, Gordon; his father, Grant Krieger of Martin, S.D.; a brother, Frank, of Aurora, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Melton of Idaho, and Mrs. Fred Clayton of Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 27, 1937)

Gilbert Krieger’s Rites Held Today
Funeral services for Gilbert Krieger, 34, who died in Coleman hospital Wednesday following an operation, were held this afternoon at the Sternborg Funeral home with the Rev. F.W. Ortmeyer pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. Krieger is survived by one son, his father, two sisters and a brother.
