Ralph Butler
Estherville – Services for Ralph A. Butler, 86, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom Balm of the Estherville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville. He died Thursday morning, September 6, 1984 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Friends may call until the time of services at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home.

Butler was born April 18, 1898 near LaPorte City, Black Hawk County, Iowa, the son of Fred and Avis (Shannon) Butler. He received his education in Emmet County schools. He remained single and farmed most of his life until his retirement.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mabel Whiteford, Estherville, one cousin, Nettie Rauhauser, Estherville and several nieces and nephews.
