Estherville – Services for Mayme R. Bringle, 79, of Estherville will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 17, at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Rev. Norman Omodt officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville. She died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1986 in Estherville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home at 103 North Ninth Street in Estherville.

She was born June 25, 1906 in Estherville, the daughter of Lewis and Anne Lande. She received her education in the Estherville schools. On Nov. 12, 1929, she was united in marriage with Elwin O. Bringle in Dell Rapids, S.D. The couple lived in Estherville all their lives and operated the Bringle Grocery Store until retiring. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church Women.

Survivors include two sons: Dr. Ronald Bringle of Austin, Texas and Dr. Jerald Bringle of New York, N.Y.; two grandchildren and two sisters, Ellen McMillan of Jefferson and Mrs. John (Catherine) Lehmann of Emmetsburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, June 10, 1975, parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 16, 1986)
