Lake Andes, So. Dak. – Services for Marjorie A. Wilcox, 62, were held in Lake Andes Monday morning. She died Thursday [September 10, 1981] .at the Lake Andes Health Care Center. Committal service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Estherville, with Fuhrman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born in 1919 [February 23, 1919] in Minneapolis, Minn., and was a graduate of St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul. She taught for many years.

She is survived by her sisters Mrs. L.L. (Merrill) Skibba, Lake Andes and formerly of Estherville and Mrs. A.R. (Marian) Wilkes, Estherville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 14, 1981)
