Ed Bartels Dies Sunday
Graettinger Man Had Been Brought to Coleman Hospital Last Week
Ed Bartels, 43, of Graettinger, who had been brought to the Coleman hospital last week in a very serious condition for treatment died at the hospital at seven o’clock Sunday morning.

He is survived by his parents living at Ute, Iowa, and by his widow and four children of Graettinger.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at one o’clock from the home and at two o’clock from the German Lutheran church there. Rev. Otis Lange, of the Immanuel Lutheran church, Estherville, will be in charge. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery, Estherville. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 21, 1937)
