Funeral Rites of Mrs. Barlean to Be Held Here
Funeral services for Mrs. George Barlean of Spencer will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church at Estherville, with the Rev. Fred Ortmeyer officiating, and Dr. Cecil J. Semans, assisting.

Mrs. Barlean died Saturday at the University of Iowa City. Formerly of Estherville, she has lived in Spencer the past six or seven years. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Parsons, seven grandchildren, Victor, Marie and George Corper, Mary Lou, David, Leroy and Charlotte Parsons; one niece Mrs. Ed McMenany of Stillwater, Minn., a nephew, W.A. Burton of Estherville, one brother-in-law, M.W. Burton of Estherville, and two grand nieces, Mrs. David Zeise of Estherville and Mrs. Alberta Bommelman of Penio Beach, Calif.
