Infant Son Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Athey Passes
Robert Raymond Athey, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Athey of Halfa passed away Thursday, March 14, of congestion of the heart. The little one was only eleven days old, having been born March 3.

Funeral services were held Friday at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scharfenburg in this city and burial made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 20, 1929)

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Athey of near Halfa, which was born March 3rd, passed away March 14 from convulsions. Funeral services were held from the J.H. Scharfenberg home in this city Friday afternoon and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery, Rev. Ragsdale officiating. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 20, 1929)
