O. W. Albright Dies From Heart Attack at Work
Oscar William Albright, 54, dropped dead at 3:30 Tuesday [August 6, 1946] afternoon from a heart attack while at work. He was a buttermaker at P.G. Gray Produce plant.

He was born Sept. 20, 1891, [per cemetery records, 1890] at Woodbine, Ill., and had lived in Estherville with his family for the past four years.

Survivors include his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Larry Salinger, Harrisburg, Pa.; Betty Jane and Bonnie Caroline, both at home, and one son, Lyall, of Lake City; three sisters, Mrs. William Oliver, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Neil Baer, Dearborn, Mich.; and Mrs. Horace Bradish, Waterloo, and one half-brother and sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Mahlum and Sandin chapel and at 1:30 at the Methodist church. The Rev. C.J. Semans will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery and the Masonic lodge will be in charge of services at the grave.

Kanawhans at Funeral of Former Resident; Heart Attack Victim
Kanawha – Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Schroeder, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Schroeder, Fred Schroeder, Mrs. Carl Schroeder, Henry Schroeder, Edward and Viola, attended funeral services for O.W. Albright, 54, held at the Methodist church at Estherville.

Mr. Albright was buttermaker at the Estherville creamery and died from a heart attack at the creamery.

About 25 years ago he was buttermaker at the Kanawha creamery. His wife is the former Miss Martha Schroeder, who survivies him. Two daughters, Betty and Bonnie also survive; also 2 daughters and a son from a former marriage.

Masonic rites were held at the grave and burial was in the Estherville cemetery. (Mason City Globe Gazette, Mason City, IA, March 13, 1946)
