Van Nuys, Calif. – Services for Ilah (Mrs. Duane) Keegan, 64, an Estherville native, will be Friday, December 30th at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Rev. Rawlin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Estherville’s Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Keegan died December 23, 1988 at San Bernardino, Calif.

Ilah Keegan was born in Estherville on October 24, 1924 to Everett and Arleva (Triplett) Shull. She graduated from Estherville High Scholl in 1944. On October 2, 1947 she married Duane Keegan in Los Angeles, Calif. and spent most of her married life in Van Nuys. Duane and Ilah would return to Estherville to spend the summers with her mother. Ilah was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Estherville.

She is survived by her husband, Duane of Van Nuys; her mother Mrs. Arleva McKean of Estherville; two daughters: Mrs. Peter (Trescha) Jaramillo of Sylmar, Calif and Mrs. John (Cindy) Geeza of Van Nuys, Calif.; and three grandchildren: Lauren, Lyndsey and Layne Jaramillo.
