Former County Resident Dies at Amarillo, Texas
Funeral services are pending here for Claude Stover [Stober], former resident of the High Lake area who died Tuesday at Amarillo, Tex. Members of the family will accompany the body here which is scheduled to arrive later this week. Funeral details will be announced arrangements are known. Stover [Stober] Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for Claude Stover, former High Lake area resident who died Tuesday at Amarillo, Tex., will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Wallingford Lutheran church, the Rev. Norbert Jolivete officiating. Burial will be in the Wallingford cemetery. Private family services will be held at 1:45 at the church. Body will lie in state at Sternborn Funeral Home from this evening until noon tomorrow. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 3, 1958)

Mrs. Anna Potter and Carroll Potter went to Wallingford Saturday where they attended the funeral of Claude Stober. The latter passed away at the home of his son, Duane in Texas. The Claude Stober family were former residents of Hardy. Mr. Stober was section foreman here. (Humboldt Republican, Humboldt, IA, January 10, 1958)
