Eddie Peterson Dies; Funeral Rites Pending
Eddie Leonard Peterson, 66, Graettinger, died at his home at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday from emphysema.

He was born May 4, 1904, at Wallingford to Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Peterson.

He received his education at High Lake and Wallingford.

On Aug. 28, 1929, he married Rose McBride at St. James.

His occupation was well work which he did most of his life.

Survivors are his wife, Rose, one son, Romaine, Estherville; five brothers, Curtis, Garner; Raymond and Earl, Forest City; Elmer, Hayfield; and Maurice, Britt; and two sisters, Margaret an Judith Peterson, and his mother, Mrs. Josie Peterson of Garner, and five grandchildren.

Services are pending at the Fuhrman Funeral Home at Graettinger. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 17, 1970)

Monday Services for Ed Peterson
Funeral services for Eddie L. Peterson, 66, of Graettinger, who died at his home at 12:30 a.m. Thursday [September 17, 1970], will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Graettinger.

The family will be at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Graettinger at 1:30. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Sunday until time of services on Monday.

Burial will be at High Lake cemetery. Rev. O.J. Reitz will officiate. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 18, 1970)
