Died – at the home of Martin Johnson of High Lake township, Monday, Sept. 7, 1896, Mrs. Bertha Edmundson, aged 100 years, 8 months and 1 day. The funeral takes place today. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, September 9, 1896)
