L.E. [George Ellsworth] Ridley of Cheyenne, Wyo., Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Vance Noe received word today of the death of her uncle, L. [G.] E. Ridley at Cheyenne, Wyo., who passed away suddenly Feb. 2 at his home. Mr. Ridley was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Ridley who played an important part in the formation of this city, which was named after his mother.

He is survived by his wife, four daughters and one son all of Cheyenne. Mr. Ridley left Estherville approximately 25 years ago and has been back only twice, in 1918 when his mother died, and in 1925 when his father died. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 14, 1935)
