Ringsted – Services for Lee C. Moore, 92, will be held at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church, Ringsted, with Pastors Paul and Margo Fohs officiating. Interment will be in High Lake Cemetery, Wallingford. He died Tuesday, Nov.13, 1990 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Ringsted from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

He was born Mar. 28, 1898 [per WWI draft records & SS death index, March 29, 1898] at St. Joseph, Mo., the son of A.J. and Lilly (Yoder) Moore and attended Beaver County, Okla. schools. On Dec. 27, 1932 he was married to Dorothy Paugh at Omaha, Nebr. Following marriage the couple farmed west of Ringsted until 1943 when they moved to their present farm. He retired in 1959. He was a member of the Shipping Association and the Creamery Board in Ringsted, Jack Creek Twp. School board; 18 year member of Ringsted Coop Elevator Board; member Emmet County Board of Review.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy, Ringsted; one daughter: Mrs. Vern (Margie) Powell, Terril; five sons: Duane, Armstrong; Dean, Ringsted; Gene, Wallingford; Roy, Bertha, Minn. and Charles, Worthington, Minn.; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one foster son, George Paugh, Gainsville, Fla.

He was preceded in death by one grandson and his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 15, 1990)
