Wallingford – Services for Otto J. Larson, 93, Wallingford, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with Pastor Virgil Anderson officiating. Interment will be in High Lake Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1983 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville after 2 p.m. today (Friday).

Larson was born June 24, 1890 in Emmet County the son of John and Inga (Goldberg) Larson. He attended rural schools. On June 3, 1914 he was united in marriage with Amanda Johnson. Larson farmed and lived his entire life near Wallingford. He was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Merlyn and his wife Alona and Ernest, all of Spencer; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Larson was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and three sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 26, 1983)
