Rites Saturday for Mrs. Otto Larson, 80
Mrs. Otto (Amanda Telinda) Larson, 80, rural Estherville, died yesterday morning at Holy Family Hospital where she had been hospitalized for the past eight days.
She was born Jan. 12, 1890, in High Lake Township in Emmet County to Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson. She was educated in the rural Emmet County schools and attended Cedar Falls Teachers College at Cedar Falls.
On June 3, 1914, she was married to Otto Larson at Estherville. She was a life-long resident of Emmet County.
Mrs. Larson was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Merlyn Larson and Ernest Larson, both of Spencer; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Anderson, Graettinger, and Mrs. Sena Carter, Estherville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:30 Saturday morning at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with Rev. John Pannkuk Sr., officiating. Burial will be in High lake Township Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville after 7 p.m. this evening until 9 a.m. Saturday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 2, 1970)
