Ringsted – Services for Mrs. Earl (Gladys Iona) Jensen, Ringsted, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John and the Rev. Amanda Werth officiating. Interment will be in High Lake Cemetery, rural Wallingford. She died Wednesday, May 27, 1992 at Fairmont Community Hospital, Fairmont, Minn. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home of Ringsted is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 11, 1921 at rural Swea City, the daughter of Clyde Sr. and Susie (Saftner) Gilbaugh. She attended rural Martin County, Minn. and Pleasant Prairie Township schools and was a 1939 graduate of Armstrong High School. On Oct. 12, 1941 she married Earl Jensen at Blue Earth, Minn. The couple made their home in the Ringsted area. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ringsted.

Survivors include her husband Earl of Ringsted; six sons: Roger, Sheldon; Jack, Susanville, Calif.; Mike, Estherville; Bruce, Forest City; Dan, Spirit Lake and Tim, Northrup, Minn.; three daughters: Mrs. James (Juanita) Justice, Ringsted; Mrs. Leo (Snookie) Parks Jr., Spirit Lake and Mrs. Dennis (Carol) Feye, Fenton; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Clyde Gilbaugh, Jr., Fairmont.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 30, 1992)
