Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson of Graettinger became the parents of twin sons, Dale and Dean on Jan. 31. Dean died a few hours after birth at the Palo Alto County Hospital at Emmetsburg. Dale was reported to be in satisfactory condition at the hospital. Mrs. Jackson will be remembered as the former Norma Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferman Watson, also of Graettinger. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Watson are his great grandparents. The Jacksons have a daughter, Jodie. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 16, 1971)

Rites Set for Jackson Infant
Dale Jackson, infant twin son born to Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson, Graettinger, on Jan. 31, at Palo Alto County Hospital, died Feb. 16. His twin, Dean, died shortly after birth.

Both infants are survived by their parents; a sister, Jodie; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferman Watson, Graettinger; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Watson, Graettinger and John Johnson, Wallingford.

Graveside services for Dale will be at the High Lake Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. Furhman Funeral Home of Graettinger is in charge of the services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 17, 1971)
