Wallingford – Services for Kenneth L. [Linton] Clark, 91, Wallingford will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with the Pastor mark Jolivette of the Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the High Lake Cemetery at Wallingford with full military graveside rites. He died Saturday, Oct. 6, 1984 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville.

He was born May 23, 1893 at Walnut, the son of Charles and Jessie (DePew) Clark. He received his education at Walnut schools. On Feb. 23, 1920 he married Esther Breffle at Spencer. The couple moved to Wallingford in 1933. They farmed in the Wallingford and Emmetsburg areas and retired to an acreage near Ingham Lake. For the last two years Clark has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church at Wallingford, American Legion, Masonic Lodge in Emmetsburg. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the United States Navy.

He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Clarence (Doris) Helgeson, Emmetsburg; one son, Max A. Clark, Estherville; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; four brothers; one son, Lee; and one daughter, Lois. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 8, 1984)
