Little Child Died of Pneumonia
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Besaw [Beesaw], who live northeast of Graettinger, mourn the death of their two year old daughter, who passed away Tuesday [May 11, 1926]. She had been ill for some time with pneumonia. The funeral was held today. Rev. C.J. Mekkelson, pastor of the local M.E. church, officiating. Interment took place in the High Lake cemetery. The Times extends sincere sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Besaw in the sad loss they have been called upon to bear. (Graettinger Times, Graettinger, IA, May 13, 1926)

Lose Their Little Girl
Monday night Ardie Besaw, the little two year old girl of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Besaw died at the hospital in Estherville. The funeral was held Thursday and the interment was made in High Lake cemetery. The Besaw family moved to the vicinity of Estherville last spring having previously near Osgood in this county.
