Mrs. Ed Beesaw, Wallingford, Dies
Mrs. Ed Beesaw, longtime resident of the Wallingford and Graettinger communities, died Sunday [December 2, 1951] at the age of 69. She died after a lingering illness caused by a heart ailment and complications.

Mrs. Beesaw was born July 4, 1882, at Jerseyville, Ill., the daughter of Samuel Charles and Lena Arbogast Barnhart. Her maiden name was Mary Mable Barnhart.

She married Ed Beesaw May 20, 1903, and continued to live in Illinois for five years with her husband. In 1908 she came to Iowa with her husband and three children.

Surviving are five children, Clifford of Ogilvie, Minn.; Mrs. John (Rita) Schubert of Carthage, Mo.; Mrs. Mike (Lena) Stellmach of Terril; Mrs. Leslie (Dora) Spencer and Mrs. Victor (Hazel) Luehring, both of Wallingford; three brothers; two sisters; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, her parents, a brother who died in infancy, two sons, Eddie who died in infancy and Obbie [Obe], who was killed in action in World War II.

Mrs. Beesaw was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran church. Services were held at the home in Wallingford at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and at 2 p.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran church. The Rev. C.B.
