As we are sending these items we hear of the death of Mrs. Albert Wolden [Ida Matilda Gilbertson Wolden] at her home east of here, Monday [June 21, 1920]. She contracted the flu last winter and had not been well since. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, June 23, 1920)

Mrs. Ida Gilbertson Wolden,, wife of Albert Wolden, died at her home in High Lake Monday morning after an extended illness of several months. Mrs. Wolden was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Gilbertson and was born and raised in High Lake township. She taught school in Emmet county until her marriage two years ago. She will be buried from the Riverside Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon. Sympathy is extended to the sorrowing husband, parents, brothers and sisters.
