Death of Mrs. Wahler
At Wallingford on Tuesday, February 6th at 9:10 p.m. occurred the death of Mrs. Henry Wahler after – illness from Bright’s disease of the kidneys. For the past few years she had failed from this trouble but not until a few days before her death did she take to her bed. The best medical aid from both Wallingford and Estherville was called in to the case and a Cedar Rapids physician was summoned but arrived too late to be of any assistance. The funeral was held – day last from the Norwegian church east of the village, the services being conducted b Rev. Hewett of Maple Hill. The burial was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Wahler was in the 59th year of her age and had made her home in Wallingford and vicinity during the last 30 years and was a very fine woman. The suddenness of her passing away from the home she so well presided over for so long has caused much sorrow in the community and to those afflicted by her death the sympathy of all is extended at this sad and lonely time.
