Albert C. Soeffing Dies
Albert Carl Soeffing, 74, lifetime resident of the Wallingford area died at 3:45 a.m. today at Holy Family Hospital after a lingering illness.

Born March 17, 1883 at Wallingford, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Soeffing. He received his education in the Wallingford school. Mr. Soeffing worked as a carpenter in the Wallingford area for many years, retiring in 1942.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. A.M. (Mary) Christopher of Wallingford and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Seventh Day Adventist church here, the Rev.C.E. Larson officiating, preceded by family services at 1:30 at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wallingford cemetery.

Friends may call at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home from this evening until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 3, 1958)
