Colbin [Kobjorn] Olson died last Thursday [January 29, 1903] evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Osher in High Lake township at the advanced age of 84 years. The funeral was held Monday and the interment was in High Lake cemetery [per cemetery records, Wallingford Lutheran]. Mr. Olson was one of the pioneer residents of the county. He is survived by six children. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 5, 1903)
