Mrs. William Nelson passed away at Wallingford Thursday. She is the mother of Delmar Nelson. Neighbors and friends extend their heartfelt sympathy. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, November 21, 1934)

Mrs. Nelson Passes Away
Funeral Services to be Held Saturday
After an illness of thirteen years, Mrs. William Nelson, 56, died yesterday afternoon at 5:15 at her farm home two miles northeast of Wallingford. Eighteen months ago she suffered a broken hip and leg and has been bedfast ever since. After her injury she made her home here at the Charles Blair home for several months.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o’clock at the Immanuel Lutheran church east of Wallingford. The Rev. Peder Nordsletten will officiate at the services. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Ida Munson Nelson had been a resident of Emmet county for more than 46 years. She was born in Decorah. Twenty six years ago she married William Nelson and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Delmar, Lenora, Theodore and Stella, two sisters, Miss Emma Munson of Estherville, and Mrs. Andrew Anderson of Peever, S.D., and four brothers: Ole and Sever Munson of Estherville, Pete Munson of Sioux City and Albert Munson of South Dakota.
