A little son of I.O. Myher [Myhre] and wife died this week of dipheria and two other children are not expected to live. This is a very sad loss and their many friends sympathize with them. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, November 21, 1890)

Another of the I.O. Myhers children succumbed to the dread disease diphtheria last week. This is a sad breaking up of a home. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, November 28, 1890)
