Ellsworth Larson
Wallingford – Services for Ellsworth A. Larson, 78, of Albert Lea, Minn. will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran Church in Wallingford with the Rev. Virgil Anderson and Rev. Milton Ost officiating. Burial will be at the Wallingford Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Mr. Larson died Saturday, September 16, 1989 at St. John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea, Minn.

Ellsworth Arnold Larson was born on March 13, 1911 in Wallingford, the son of Halvor and Caroline (Syverson) Larson. He attended and graduated from Estherville High School in 1930 and attended Mankato Commercial College. Ellsworth farmed near Wallingford before moving in 1952 to Davenport where he was an inspector for the Bendix Corporation. In 1975 Ellsworth moved to Albert Lea, Minn. He enjoyed traveling and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Albert Lea.

Survivors include a brother: Leland Larson of St. Paul, MInn.; two sisters: Hazel Benesh of Waseca, Minn. and Mrs. Charles (Lila) Niermann of St. Paul, Minn.; and seven nieces and nephews.
