The insane board has been busy the past week and as a result of its investigations Frank and Will Kreis of Wallington [Wallingford], aged about 26 and 22 years, were taken to the asylum Tuesday night. The boys’ trouble is hereditary. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, August 8, 1895)

Mr. Frank Kreis died at the insane asylum at Independence last week and his remains were brought home for burial Saturday. The deceased was taken to Independence some time last summer. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, December 25, 1895)

Frank Kreis, who was taken to the asylum in August, died there last Friday, of typhoid fever and was brought home to Wallingford for burial Sunday. We have no further particulars. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, December 26, 1895)
