Mrs. Ole Johnson [Ida Jacobson Johnson], west of Wallingford died after a lingering sickness of three weeks’ duration. She leaves to mourn her death a husband and seven children, the oldest about 15 years and the baby a little over a year old. Mrs. Johnson will be missed by her neighbors as she was a good, kind-hearted woman and a good friend to all who knew her. Funeral and burial will take place at Riverside church east of Wallingford on Tuesday of which church she was a member. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, April 14, 1920)
Mrs. Ole Johnston Passes Away
Mrs. Ole Johnston of Twelve Mile Lake township, died last Saturday [April 10 1920] of brain fever. Funeral services were held Monday. A husband and seven children are left to mourn the death of a devoted wife and loving mother.
