Alpha Jacobson Dies; Funeral Set Saturday
Alpha G. Jacobson, 77, died at 6 a.m. Thursday [October 22, 1970] at Holy Family Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jacobson, and was educated in the Emmet County schools until the seventh grade, when she entered the Estherville schools.

She was a life-long member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one brother, Jacob T. Jacobson, Estherville; four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Frisvold, Estherville, Mrs. Arthur M. Fossum, Estherville, Mrs. Jamie Kasa, Wallingford, and Mrs. John Fohn-Hansen, Fairbanks, Alaska; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Engelstad officiating. Burial will be in the Wallingford Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday afternoon at the Fuhrman Funeral Home until noon Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 22, 1970)
