The mother of Frank Irwin and Mrs. J.A. Haring passed away at the home of her daughter Thursday. Burial was made elsewhere. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, December 8, 1920)

Mrs. Margrete Weismer [Weisner] passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.A. Harling, Thursday, Dec. 2, after a lingering illness of about five months. She was past seventy-one years of age. She leaves to mourn her death three children, Mrs. J.A. Harling, Frank Irwin of Brookings, S.D., and a daughter living in the state of New York. Funeral services were held at the residence on Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. Voorhies of Estherville conducting the funeral service. She was taken to Clinton, Iowa for burial.
