Paul G. Paulson
Paul G. Paulson, 72, died Monday evening, Oct. 22, at Park View clinic from a cerebral hemorrhage.Paul G. Paulson was born June 18, 1873, in High Lake township, Emmet county, Iowa. His parents were Gunder and Annie Paulson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Immanuel church. As a young boy he moved with his parents to a farm in Jack Creek township where he resided till August, 1944 when he moved to Estherville.
He is survived by two brothers, Peter G. Paulson of Swan Lake and Simon G. Paulson of Estherville, three sisters, Ms. Julia McNamara of St. Paul, Mrs. George Nelson of Emmetsburg and Mrs. Christina Christian of Estherville who made her home with Mr. Paulson, and an aunt, Mrs. Sarah Aanonson, 83.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 26, first from the Paulson home and then from the Immanuel church with the Rev. T.J. Spande officiating and assisted by the Rev. C.M. Hanson of Estherville. Pallbearers were Gunder Paulson, Clarence Nelson, Melvin Christian, Carl Christian, Willie McNamara and Hilmer Larson. Interment was made at the High Lake cemetery.
