Miss Susie Paulson died at the home of her brother four miles southeast of town, last Sunday morning of consumption. The deceased was a young lady about 28 years of age and has been a sufferer of that dreadful disease for the past two years. She leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her early taking away. The funeral will be held today at the Wallingford church. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, February 3, 1897)

Died – Miss Susie Paulson died at her home near Wallingford Sunday morning of consumption. The funeral will occur tomorrow at the Wallingford church at 1 o’clock. Deceased was well known in this city and was a well-respected young woman. She leaves many friends who sincerely mourn her untimely death.
